2024 Asia Pro Bono Roundtable Q1

Published on 18 March 2024 The first 2024 Asia Pro Bono Quarterly Roundtable on ‘Pro Bono in Times of Crisis’ was held on 14 March.

The Roundtable aimed to shed light on the crucial role of pro bono in upholding the rule of law in response to unfolding crises in the Asia Pacific region. The discussion drew upon the experience of our consortium members and participating law firms, exploring a range of ways in which the pro bono community can respond to crises.

This will be an exciting session on the crucial role of pro bono in upholding the rule of law in response to unfolding crises in the Asia Pacific region. Speakers include Dan Creasey from King & Wood Mallesons, Kyi Suu from International Bridges to Justice (IBJ) Myanmar, Miriam Chinnappa from the Centre for Law & Transformative Change, Lionel Blackman from the Centre for Law & Transformative Change, Paridhi Singh from Thomson Reuters' TrustLaw and Pamela Binnington from the Australian Pro Bono Centre.
