Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the U.S. pro bono program, ensuring alignment with firm strategy and priorities
- Evaluate, prioritize, and facilitate incoming pro bono opportunities, aligning matters with firm capabilities and strategic focus areas
- Serve as a primary advisor to lawyers and business professionals on pro bono processes, matter intake, and participation
- Oversee the lifecycle of pro bono matters, including monitoring activity, assessing progress, and addressing risks or delays
- Design, implement, and improve processes and systems to enhance efficiency, tracking, and reporting
- Develop and execute communication strategies to drive engagement across U.S. offices, including updates, reports, and program materials
- Identify and cultivate external partnerships with nonprofit organizations and pro bono brokers aligned with firm objectives
- Manage risk and compliance considerations, including coordination of matter transitions and adherence to firm policies
- Analyze pro bono data and metrics to generate insights and support strategic planning and reporting
- Lead preparation and delivery of pro bono reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with internal and external requirements
- Develop and maintain training materials and coordinate training sessions and events
- Assess and measure the impact of pro bono initiatives and support development of long-term program goals
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align resources and support broader firm initiatives
- Drive innovation and operational improvements, including evaluating and implementing emerging technologies
- Support and advise the global chair of pro bono on U.S. program strategy, priorities, and performance
The Successful Candidate
Education
- Two years of college or equivalent experience required
- College degree or equivalent experience preferred
Experience
- Ten plus years of experience in a high-level support or program management role
- Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred
Skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Understanding of a law firm environment
