We have an exciting opportunity for a Law Graduate to join our Pro bono team in Sydney working with Pro Bono Legal Programs Manager and Senior Associate, Georgia Murphy-Haste.
Key Responsibilities

Our dedicated Pro Bono Practice strives to strengthen our communities by providing free legal assistance to disadvantaged individuals, as well as eligible not-for-profit and charitable organisations.

This role is part of a highly engaged, collaborative team which is located across Newcastle and Sydney.

Part of this role is triaging of pro bono referrals from pro bono clearing houses, community legal centres, charities and not-for-profit organisations.
The Successful Candidate

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.

You will have a passion for and commitment to social justice.

You will be comfortable liaising with various internal and external stakeholders and preferably has experience working with clients from diverse and/or disadvantaged backgrounds.

Your interest lies not solely in pro bono case work but also in project coordination and community engagement, which is a large part of the role.

Ideally you will have graduated and be able to start as a full-time graduate immediately.
