The Inclusion & Pro Bono Specialist will play a pivotal role in working with the Senior Inclusion Manager, Pro Bono Manager and broader team to implement and advance our global Inclusion & Pro Bono strategies. We’re looking for a collaborative, organized, and passionate individual with exceptional written and verbal communication skills to join our team.

Key responsibilities

  • Bring meaningful programs to life by helping plan and organize inspiring Inclusion, Pro Bono, and community service events, workshops, and initiatives that make a real impact.
  • Be a voice for change by supporting the creation and upkeep of engaging internal and external communications, including content for the Firm’s website and department events.
  • Help drive our mission forward by assisting with tracking and reporting on Inclusion & Pro Bono budgets—ensuring our resources are used effectively for maximum impact.
  • Support your colleagues in giving back by guiding attorneys and business professionals through the process of launching new pro bono matters.
  • Build strong community connections by corresponding with partner organizations and legal service providers to foster meaningful collaborations.
  • Empower our affinity groups by coordinating activities and providing logistical support.
  • Champion education and opportunity by assisting with the administration of the Brown Rudnick Charitable Foundation’s grants and application process.
  • Support purposeful giving by helping manage the firm’s professional legal-related donations and philanthropic efforts.
  • Grow with us by taking on special projects and additional responsibilities that align with your interests and help you develop professionally.

The Successful Candidate 

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an administrative or coordination role, ideally in a professional environment with a focus on social impact projects.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
  • Highly skilled across Microsoft Office suite.
  • Top class attention to detail.
