The Financial Institution Pro Bono Day^® (FIPBD^®) event is an industry-wide day of pro bono service that brings together volunteer lawyers and legal staff from financial institutions and insurance companies across the country and around the globe. The event expands access to justice through the delivery of vital legal services to underserved communities.

Led by the CPBO project, the FIPBD event promotes pro bono engagement and collaboration across the financial and insurance industries, working in partnership with law firms and legal services partners. Participating legal departments organize and join pro bono service and training opportunities of their choice, many of which are open across companies.

This annual day of pro bono service strengthens the legal profession’s shared commitment to fairness, dignity, and the public good through meaningful support for individuals and communities in need.
