This position will support the Pro Bono team with day-to-day operations and administrative projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Track, update, and record the status of pro bono matters in the Firm’s pro bono database
- Assist Pro Bono Department in planning and hosting pro bono events and training programs
- Assist Pro Bono Department in developing pro bono marketing content for Firm’s website and blog
- Work with Pro Bono Counsel and Information Technology team to update and enhance the pro bono training materials and opportunity listings on the Firm’s intranet
- Work with Pro Bono Counsel and Finance team to respond to pro bono audits and surveys
- Perform research and/or other special projects for the Pro Bono Department
The Successful Candidate
- Must be a current college Sophomore, Junior or Senior in excellent standing
- Demonstrated commitment to public service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytic and organizational skills
- Previous internship or volunteer experience with charitable or nonprofit organizations is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Willingness to work collaboratively as a member of a team with a positive attitude
- Ability to carry out certain tasks with minimal supervision after instruction has been provided
- High level of attention to detail and meticulous follow through
- Ability to be proactive and a self-starter
